They also checked how much the nasal tip skin could be lifted, and put my CT scan on the screen to check whether there were any functional issues and whether the septum was deviated or not, then consulted with me.
Since my skin is on the thicker side, they said the chance of the cartilage placed in the nasal tip showing through would be low. I was informed about autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage, and silicone would be used for the nasal bridge. I felt they told me only exactly what was necessary, and the consultation time didn’t feel wasted!
