I got Botox for the tip of my nose and my nostrils. I was lying down, so I couldn’t confirm whether they used the right amount, but right before starting, they skipped the numbing cream and went straight to ice compresses! They said that since it’s an intramuscular injection, numbing cream doesn’t really work,,, but that seems right. Doing ice compresses first and then getting the injection saves time and hurts much less, which was great!!!! The Botox did work, but it didn’t last very long, which was disappointing,, maybe because they used one syringe for two areas so there wasn’t enough Botox... (just my speculation) The doctor was so, so, so kind, which I really liked.
