It definitely feels right not to compromise when it comes to aesthetics. This is something I felt while consulting at RU Plastic Surgery and Nose Lab. I felt that it’s right to consult with a director who really understands my nose condition and type?? and shape the design together... Experience matters too, but to some extent, I think directors who have really studied noses explain things in more detail. At RU, in Director Kim Hyun-joo’s case, she explained my current nose condition and slowly showed cases while going over how to restore the collapsed nasal balance + what to do about the nose that had become excessively short and upturned as contracture developed, which I liked. At Nose Lab, after the CT scan, they explained the internal condition of my nose, and when planning the line, they carefully explained the direction for naturally restoring the shortened nose + compared my nose with cases restored after autologous costal cartilage surgery, explaining similarities and differences in detail, which was good. So I’m planning to decide on one of these two places and go with it..
