As you can see in the photos, I had so much fat under my chin that there was almost no boundary between my chin and neck I’d had a lot of fat under my chin since I was young, so it was always a source of stress, and after a friend recommended it, I heard about a procedure called facial liposuction and started searching!
I live in the provinces, so there were relatively too few facial liposuction cases.. The only ways I could look things up were cafes + apps, so I think I really spent about a week searching online and making a list of hospitals I decided to have facial liposuction in Seoul and made appointments at a total of 5 hospitals! I really selected hospitals in my own way by looking at photo-centered reviews here and there, but after receiving hospital consultations, I understood.. Through the consultations, I really felt the differences in why one chooses a hospital!
For people like me who are considering facial liposuction and thread lifting, I think it’s best to get consultations at as many hospitals as possible. The reason I decided to have surgery at Doctor Jeong Liban was, first of all, that the consultation felt systematic. Rather than just looking with the naked eye, the director personally checked the fat + muscle layers with ultrasound, and explained many cases while showing photos.
And I felt even more merit in the fact that there was no overtreatment. At some hospitals, there were consultations that said they absolutely wouldn’t do it unless I did muscle tying because there would be no effect, but while looking at the ultrasound, they told me that my chin structure itself had short muscles, so even if I did muscle tying, the effect would be the same as thread lifting, and they consulted honestly about the cost and recovery period for facial liposuction too, so I chose them! I was also worried about side effects after surgery or fibrosis/firm lumps that I sometimes saw in reviews, but maybe because they did it by hand, I could take a half day off on Friday, go up, have surgery, and go to work on Monday.. To the point that people who didn’t know really wouldn’t know..!!!!
You’ll feel this even more if you go to consultations at several places, but there are places that don’t do facial liposuction by hand.. I also saw it in other reviews, but I made a checklist of things to compare and went! (Super J..) As in the photos, because of the fat under my chin I was always busy covering it up, and I barely took selfies, but these days.. I’m confident enough no matter where or from what angle I’m photographed......
At first my husband opposed it, saying, does it really have to be facial liposuction, not something else? But these days.. he’s praising it so much he says it was a stroke of genius I wish I had done it in my 20s, but I’m thankful I did it even now.. If you’re considering facial liposuction, do it now..! Seriously
