Before<Before>Before<Before>I had the slight hooked part shaved down, and because I wanted the nasal tip to be raised and defined, silicone was placed in the nasal bridge to match the tip. For the nasal tip, they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage. They did recommend costal cartilage too, but rib cartilage felt burdensome, so when I said I wanted to use cartilage, they still made the line beautifully with cartilage! It’s week 2, but I’m surprised because I’m less swollen than I expected. I have friends around me who had nose surgery, and they had some swelling. Maybe I’m the type who doesn’t swell much haha. There is still minor swelling, but there isn’t major swelling, so it’s nice that there’s no real inconvenience when I go out to eat or do things!
