After after after before beforeIt's been a few months since I had nose surgery, but I went back to work as soon as I recovered, so I'm only posting the review now (I don't usually leave reviews or anything like that, but I'm so satisfied..)
Before surgery, my nose had a slight hump when seen from the side, and especially from the front, the nasal tip looked completely blunt? spread out, so I used to go crazy with contour shading.
After I made up my mind to get nose surgery, I searched a lot for hospitals while looking through a community and apps, and since I didn't have time to go all the way to Seoul, I went for consultations in Seomyeon near my home and got the surgery at Selfie.
Each person is probably drawn to different hospitals, but I think there were about 4 reasons why I chose Selfie.
1. Comfortable consultation without recommendation pressure or coercion ㄴ> At other places, it felt like, "your nose is like this and that, so you must do it this way," but here they first started by asking what my concerns were, and I liked that they explained detailed solutions for the parts I was concerned about. It also felt professional
2. Showed cases similar to my nose ㄴ> It wasn't a consultation where they just explained things verbally. They showed materials like real cases similar to mine and explained the surgical method and even how it improved, so it felt less like a consultation and more like medical care? an examination? which I liked.
3. Other things ㄴ> First, the hospital location was good and the hospital was overall clean. And at other places, some people were kind and some were unfriendly, but here, I think every staff member I came across even once was kind. This is my personal opinion.
For materials, I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage based on the director's recommendation, and while refining the hump, I also had length extension done. From the side, the nasal bridge became so smooth it was seriously like it had been sanded down with sandpaper, and the spread-out nasal tip became round and defined. Oh, and after surgery here, they really took good care of swelling and scar management.
The cost honestly wasn't on the cheaper side compared with other places, but my philosophy is to do it properly even if it's expensive, and after seeing my nose settle after surgery, I didn't feel the money was wasted at all. (But this is also very subjective, since some people may prefer cheaper options.)
