**I've already had the surgery now, and this is a review of visiting three places**
This is my first post, so I'm not really sure how to write it For now, I'll write in an informal, clipped style like other people do
First, my features: - It was my first surgery, and I went while not knowing much, thinking about double eyelids and lateral canthoplasty - I originally didn't have double eyelids, but they appeared as I grew up. But my double-eyelid folds changed often, and especially when I got swollen, they would disappear and sometimes not come back, so it stressed me out. Only at those times, I used double-eyelid tape very occasionally, about once every few months - I booked and visited all of them through acquaintance recommendations and internet searches; none of the three charged a consultation fee - I didn't bring any specific reference photos, and asked for a line that would suit me naturally
- '' clinic - This was my first consultation, a local private clinic with one doctor - I consulted with the manager first and tried making a line. The manager recommended the buried suture method and said I didn't really need canthoplasty, and that if I did canthoplasty my eyes would reattach easily - The doctor consultation was short, and they tried making a line once. Rather than a detailed explanation about the surgery itself, it felt a bit rambling... I don't remember the consultation content well, but they said the fat in my left eye was a little more sunken, and said buried suture double-eyelid surgery is a simple procedure and told me to do it that day before leaving - My mom's acquaintance said she had double-eyelid surgery here and it turned out naturally and well - The cost was the cheapest
- 'ㅊ' plastic surgery clinic - Second consultation, a private clinic with one specialist, no waiting - After a short consultation with the manager, I went straight into the doctor consultation, and with the manager I only discussed things like cost - We tried making the line several times, but they kept telling me to put strength into my eyes They said my eye-opening strength was weak and I had sleepy-looking eyes, so I needed incisional double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. I had been concerned because eyelashes sometimes poked the back part of my eye, but they said it had nothing to do with lateral canthoplasty and I think they said there wasn't enough space. They said if I did epicanthoplasty, the line would show better, but it would make the space between my eyes look too close, so they didn't recommend it. They said my eyes shouldn't have a large line. They explained things in a lot of detail - It was the most expensive
- 'ㅍ' plastic surgery clinic - I heard the waiting would be long because it's famous, and it was long. I went a little early and entered the consultation room at my appointment time, but then waited again there - Here too, I consulted with the manager first, tried making a line, and they recommended natural adhesion, upper canthoplasty, and ptosis correction. The initials of the doctor who consulted me were ㅂㅈㅇ. They were also kind and explained things in a lot of detail. They suggested an in-out line, saying let's set it based on the left eye line. After trying the line several times, they said they'd examine my eyes and held my forehead to check my eye-opening strength, but I remember it was funny because my eyes really wouldn't open - Here, they recommended upper canthoplasty, saying the front line would show better if I did it. They likewise did not recommend epicanthoplasty, and there was no mention of lateral canthoplasty - After the director left, I waited again before the manager came... The cost itself was the most expensive, but they said they'd discount it to almost half price if I left reviews on communities/apps, so cost-wise it was second
It's been about 10 days since I had surgery at the second clinic, and I'll leave the review separately. The stitches are out, but maybe because there's still swelling, my eyes don't close well and they became uneven
