Before before before / after after after I had three types of facial contouring surgery 6 years ago, and my cheekbone asymmetry became even more noticeable, so it was a complex for me. Facial contouring surgery is painful and the recovery period is long, so I thought about it a lot, then finally made up my mind and had cheekbone revision surgery this time at 345. This is my review after 2 weeks, now in week 3.
The reason I chose 345 was... I only looked for hospitals that met these three conditions: 1. safety, 2. a hospital that pursues natural lines, 3. the director’s experience. 345 was exactly that kind of hospital, and I was quite drawn to the fact that the director had been a specialist at Seoul National University Hospital... It felt like they would consider even the functional aspects during surgery and do it safely without overdoing it Anyway, after all that thinking, the result of the surgery is so satisfying that I honestly wonder why I only did it now!! Before, I was busy trying to cover my cheekbones with the hair at the sides of my face, but now I go around with all my hair tucked behind my ears VV
-Recovery process Day 1 (day of surgery) Honestly, as soon as I woke up from anesthesia, it hurt so so so so much.. I think the day of surgery is the peak of the pain?? But maybe because of the anesthesia, even while it hurt, I kept feeling sleepy and slept.. Day 1 passed quickly in a blur as I kept sleeping and waking up..
Days 2-7 On day 2, the pain was reduced by half compared with the day of surgery, and from day 3, there was no pain.. When I had facial contouring surgery 6 years ago, it hurt almost the whole week... The swelling also peaked around days 3-4 and then kept going down.
Week 1-week 3 (now) Um.... the hardest thing until week 2 was.... not being able to brush my teeth.... Other than that, there was no pain and nothing difficult. They say pain you already know is scarier, so before surgery I was full of worries, but recovery was fast, the swelling is going down well too... I keep thinking I should’ve done it sooner.
For liquid food, I rotated between New Care, protein drinks, and Ottogi cream soup, and from week 1 I think I ate soft tofu, boiled dumplings, noodles... basically everything... Awkward.... Of course, I cut everything finely with scissors so I could just swallow it without chewing.
I’m looking forward to more natural changes as the swelling goes down furtherㅎㅡㅎ I’ll come write another review when more swelling goes down(__)~!
