It was a hospital in Gangnam, Hu-jeon, famous for functional rhinoplasty, and the director is from Seoul National University. After having cosmetic surgery at that hospital, I became infected with MRSA. After 7 days, swelling that had once gone down came back up, and when I asked whether it was inflammation, the hospital said it seemed like a hematoma had formed, but that there was nothing much to worry about. They took action by drawing blood out with a syringe, but they did not run a blood test. Then blood collected again, so I got tested at another hospital and found out it was MRSA. After that, I had removal surgery twice and received antibiotics for 2 weeks, but even now, one month later, the inflammation has still not fully healed. My nose has become deformed, and because pus formed near the paranasal sinus area, the front cheek where the drain had been inserted down to the philtrum is numb, so I can’t even smile properly.
The nurses also failed several times at giving antibiotic injections, and then laughed among themselves; there was even a day when they failed 6 times. The antibiotic was a strong antibiotic that would normally take about 2 and a half hours and needed to be administered that slowly, but I received it at the absurd speed of 3-5 minutes, which made me unable to breathe and left my consciousness hazy. There was also a time when they said I could go home with the injection needle still left in my arm. The hospital told me I was their first infection case, but I don’t know whether that is true or not. I also couldn’t get a refund.
