As someone from Ansan, I got LASIK at the ㅇㅅ ophthalmology clinic that people in Ansan go to, because my ex-boyfriend had LASIK there. He said his vision went up to 1.0, so I just followed and did it too. (I had extremely high astigmatism, to the point where I had to wear compressed thick glasses lenses.) My astigmatism was corrected well, and both eyes came out to 1.0 vision without any problems. I also got an acquaintance discount and, well... it is a factory-style clinic, but they do detailed testing with more than 10 types of equipment (exam fee free), so I think it’s good for getting it done in a straightforward and stable way. I haven’t seen anyone around me who did it here and had a bad result. My mom is scheduled to have cataract surgery here at the end of July. It’s okay okay, I recommend it. If you’re from Ansan, I think it’s fine to do it here instead of going all the way to Seoul and making it a hassle.
