In my teens and 20s, I was scared of double jaw surgery and never even thought about it, but once I reached my 30s, I wanted to correct the jaw asymmetry that had bothered me for a long time So I immediately started looking for hospitals, excluding plastic surgery clinics and looking only at oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics! Among them, the doctor's explanations on YouTube really resonated with me, so I had my first consultation at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and scheduled the surgery date right there on the spot haha
Starting one month after surgery, I returned to work right away. Since my job involves talking a lot, I was quite worried, but up to 1-2 months it felt slightly awkward, and now I can speak with no problems at all haha Now I eat exactly the same as other people haha I can eat tough meat with no problem haha Before surgery, because of COVID, I wore a mask around and sort of hid my face, so I really benefited from masks, but now I don't want to wear a mask at all lol My confidence has gone up that much, and I feel like my personality has changed too, so I'm really happy!!! Double jaw surgery can change not only your appearance but also your personality, so it's killing two birds with one stone lol Honestly, I don't really remember what I looked like before double jaw surgery anymore haha Even if I were told to do double jaw surgery again, I could do it.
