I think it’s been about 8 years since I had LASIK surgery. My cornea was shaped very steeply, so regular LASIK was difficult. I couldn’t do it with the latest machine, and was recommended to proceed with an older LASIK machine. From 0.3, my fixed visual acuity was 0.7 the day after surgery.. After that, I suffered from dry eye, and even 1.0 barely came out. I lived with artificial tears for over 5 years, and that director moved to Daegu, so I was transferred to another director at the same hospital.
But seriously, as soon as I switched, my dry eye completely got better.. Now I don’t have dry eye either, and my fixed visual acuity has gone up to 1.3~1.5.
