I had revision surgery from Allergan teardrop implants. My first surgery (2019) was also at this hospital, and my revision (2024) was at the same hospital too (so I got a bit of a discount on the price)
Because of the Allergan lymphoma issue, I thought about it for 3 years (I had them without any problems), but since I live abroad (I wouldn’t be able to come to the hospital in an emergency), I eventually decided to do it.
It took me some time to decide, but there weren’t many reviews related to Allergan replacement, which was a bit disappointing, so I’m posting this review in hopes it might help if everyone here is also worrying after having Allergan surgery like I was.
I was very satisfied after my first surgery (except for the feel, but I already knew before surgery that the feel wouldn’t be great; the director is famous for breast surgery, and I know he has handled many difficult revision cases), and I kept putting it off because I didn’t want to have another incision in my body and undergo general anesthesia, but since I came to Korea, I decided to do it.
So far, I’m extremely satisfied with the surgical result. My first surgery didn’t hurt either, but the revision also seems to be settling well without hurting at all. What I found out during the revision was that there was a double capsule on both sides. So both double capsules were partially removed (I feel like I made the right choice having the revision), and maybe because I went with the size the director recommended, it looks much more natural than before
When I had Allergan implants, I worried every day that the flesh might separate from the implant, but now I like that I don’t have to worry about that (of course, I still have to diligently wear a bra to prevent other side effects)
If everyone here is also thinking about revision surgery, I recommend this hospital!!
