Because I have fairly thick double eyelids, people used to say things like my eyes looked sharp~ But compared to that, my nose was so flat and wide that it was the typical bulbous nose, so I’ve wanted rhinoplasty so badly for a long time.
But there were quite a few people around me who had gotten nose surgery, so I was also told not to do it??? But I couldn’t get rid of the thought that I wanted it, so I went around doing consultations on my own and visited places famous for rhinoplasty, and after seeing the reviews, I liked the place I went to, because I felt their aesthetic sense matched mine really well
As expected, the director also told me that if the bulbous look in my nose disappeared and the bridge were made elegantly high, it would suit my other features much better. During the consultation, we communicated well, and the design they showed me was exactly the style I wanted, so I strongly felt, I want to do this as soon as possible!!
Because my nose was originally wide and flat, I wanted it to become slim for sure, and I asked them to make it an elegant straight-bridge nose (I kept emphasizing to the director even up until the surgery day, “straight-bridge nose! straight-bridge nose!”..). After the surgery, wearing the nasal splint was more uncomfortable than I expected..? It wasn’t so much pain as a feeling of being unable to breathe comfortably..
A friend around me kept saying, right? It’s hard, isn’t it? and stuff like that, but since the splint hadn’t come off yet, I thought it was too early to be certain, so I focused on recovery. Then the splint came off, and once the wide bulbous look disappeared and the bridge itself became slim, it was so amazing..
As time passed, it settled into place quickly, and even the friends who had told me not to get nose surgery started making a fuss, asking where I got it done because they wanted revision surgery too. ^0^ It wasn’t just that the bulbous nose was gone, but I think the surgery matched my facial features harmoniously too, so I’m satisfied.
It’ll already be a year since my nose surgery next month, and I’m still doing well with no problems~ People say it’s a fake nose, but I carefully discussed the design with the director and had the surgery after choosing it very thoughtfully (that’s just the expression I’m using), so I’m living as if it’s my own nose ^0^
