Before<lip filler before>After<5 days after the 2nd lip filler> This is a review written a little over two months after my last lip filler!
Before getting fillers, I heard a lot of negative things from people around me, like: If you get lip filler, your philtrum gets longer and you end up looking older later. Fillers disappear quickly anyway. After the filler fades, it can leave your lips lumpy and uneven, making them look like a cosmetic complication. And so on. Because of all that, even deciding to get lip filler made me think about it very carefully for a long time.
There were plenty of cheap places to get lip fillers, but I chose the clinic a friend recommended and where my friend had gotten it done.
For the first session, they opened one 1 cc filler syringe and injected 0.8 cc, then I got a touch-up of 0.2 cc two weeks later. At first I said I only wanted it in the lower lip, so the full 1 cc went into the lower lip only, and my lips just got plumper and the wrinkles smoothed out?? It didn’t really make the lip shape itself prettier. Still, I was pretty satisfied, but as they say, the first filler really does fade fast... About two months later, even a little bit of that plumpness disappearing became very noticeable, and I started getting greedy
So a little over two months later?? 2nd lip filler!!!! Added another 1 cc This time I brought a photo and showed them this is the kind of lip shape I want. I also got filler in the upper lip. The first time I got lip filler, there was just a little bruise and slight swelling, but because I added the upper lip this time... or maybe because I kept laughing after the lip filler... my lips swelled up a lot But after about 3 days, the swelling went down and the lip shape came out, and I was soooo satisfied! I was really, really happy with it.
It’s now a little over 2 months since my last filler, and some of the swelling and filler fullness has gone down, but my lips are still plumper than before I had any filler at all, and the lip shape that was held in place is still a little bit left, so my lips have changed to have a slightly upturned mouth corner! Of course they’re a little uneven, but people don’t notice unless I say something. It’s only something I can feel? So later I’m thinking of doing a small touch-up just to even them out a bit!!!!
I heard lips also get more wrinkled and thinner as you age, and just getting lip filler really makes my face look more alive! As long as you don’t overdo it and make them absurdly sausage-like, I don’t think it gives that overfilled surgery look either... Personally, I really think lip filler was a great choice! I’m very satisfied!!!
