Before-before-after-after-after Hello, I’m finally writing my 1-year review. After finishing my first surgery... it was such a difficult time, but already a year has passed.
Last May, I had double-jaw surgery together with two types of facial contouring, square jaw and chin, at Y Oral Clinic.
The biggest change is that my asymmetry and protruding lower jaw are gone, so when I look in the mirror or take photos, I can do it confidently without hesitation! That uncomfortable feeling of not wanting to show your side profile, being cautious about taking photos... only people who have decided on surgery would know, right?
I hope my successful case gives courage to someone who really needs surgery haha.
I’m currently wearing braces... but once even this is finished, I think I’ll feel really proud.
It’s only been 1 year, so 100% of the sensation at the tip of my chin hasn’t returned yet, but it seems to be coming back little by little. Still, compared with what I gained, it’s not something I worry about too much, and I’m living with the mindset that it will keep getting better haha. The surgery also ended safely, and after the recovery period, I’m grateful that all the doctors and the manager in charge have treated me kindly all the way until now.
I definitely think the best hospital is one that is kind and takes responsibility until the end!
