The surgery was over in under 5 minutes.
In contact lens prescription, my myopia was -8.5, -8.0 and astigmatism was -2.75, -2.25.
Because of the nature of my job, I had to wear contact lenses for long hours every day, so I decided to have surgery.
One month after correction, my corrected visual acuity was 1.2 and 1.0.
I haven't measured it recently, but I can definitely feel that my vision has dropped. By feel, maybe 0.8? My dominant eye has worse vision.
The side effect is about glare/halos?? When driving on a bright sunny day, sunglasses are absolutely necessary.
Still, compared to before, my quality of life has definitely changed..
