Nose Surgery Reviews

First rhinoplasty / upturned / small / short nose, implant-free nasal tip lengthening review!!!

Before before after after after A long time ago, when I got double eyelid surgery, I booked at just one place? went for a consultation, and had surgery there. I was pretty satisfied with my double eyelids, and I’m also lazy... So I booked a consultation at just one place, prepared to never do it in my life if I didn’t like it.

Thinking about it now, I really was ignorant and brave..

The director recommended nasal tip lengthening (autologous costal cartilage / donated costal cartilage) + osteotomy, and since my allergies are really severe, I just said I’d do autologous costal cartilage and not do the osteotomy (because I really hate that nose where only the bridge stands out too much..)

When I said I’d use autologous costal cartilage, then while harvesting it, since I also have little nasal soft tissue and thin skin, he was worried it might show through, so he said he would use part of the membrane? as well to minimize nasal tip show-through. But he said I’d probably need autologous dermis later when I get older.

The photos were taken exactly at 2 weeks, my impression didn’t change much, there’s no pinched-nose feeling, and my upturned nose was fixed, so I’m satisfied.

However, I totally understand why the director recommended osteotomy, and honestly I do strongly think I should’ve done the osteotomy too, but that alone isn’t a reason to get revision surgery... I’m thinking maybe I’ll try it later when I supplement with autologous dermis..

Everyone around me says it turned out well and looks natural, so I’m very satisfied..!
