My height is 164 cm, weight 50 kg. Rib cage 70, breast base width came out as 11 and 10.5!
Marvel / Gangnam Motiva 320 cc, Mentor Xtra 330 cc
I filled out the chart and started the consultation with the consultant first. She asked how much bigger I wanted my breasts to be and what my usual concerns were, then I changed clothes. After that, I was able to meet the director right away, so I liked that everything moved along smoothly without waiting.
I had the consultation with the chief director, and his way of speaking was very gentle and kind. He explained everything about breast augmentation one by one, so as someone having my first consultation, it helped me a lot. He first explains the basic knowledge about breast surgery! (How to choose implants, determining size, what surgical method should be used?) I felt that at least here, I wouldn't end up having surgery without knowing anything.
They took body measurements very meticulously. They said the reason they do this is that they need to understand the patient's body accurately so that after surgery, the breasts don't become uneven or the nipples don't become asymmetric. Since my inframammary fold was already clear, they recommended an inframammary incision. They also explained that although it isn't severe, I have a slight pigeon chest, so the chance of developing upper pole bulging is actually lower, and then recommended implants.
I wanted size recommendations for both Motiva and Mentor Xtra, so I was able to hear explanations for both. But when I touched both, I couldn't decide (also because it was my first consultation).. so I just said I wanted to know the cost for both. (If anyone is curious about this, I'll let you know!) The consultant explained the cost and it ended. Overall, the consultation was decent, and I liked that I was able to learn a lot about breast surgery.
Bon Bon / Hakdong Motiva 335 cc
Keep in mind that there is a consultation fee here! After registering and waiting a little, I had the consultation with the consultant right away, and after waiting about 10 minutes, I was able to meet the director. The consultant was very calm (no particular uncomfortable pressure). The director was a bit cynical, but it wasn't an insincere attitude.
But the director's consultation felt like it ended faster than I expected..? He looked at my armpits and said I only needed implant surgery without liposuction, then measured my breast dimensions very quickly and finished. The director immediately said I should do Motiva. I could accept the Motiva recommendation, but I wanted to hear the reason too. Hearing just “Do Motiva” made me a little stunned.. and then he immediately recommended a size.
I didn't hear anything here about having a pigeon chest. And the director recommended an inframammary incision, saying they use a minimal incision so the scar is barely noticeable, and he said 335 cc was the ideal size for my breasts. Since I said I wanted a C cup, it felt like he recommended the size to match that!
After that consultation ended, I heard the cost explanation from the consultant and finished, but it was a little disappointing that I could only hear answers about things like AS or aftercare if I asked first Still, seeing the director quickly measure my breast dimensions and say what size would work did make me feel like he has handled breast surgery a lot, but.. considering the consultation fee, there were definitely some disappointing points.
That's how I finished the consultations, and I felt kind of lucky that I had at least gone to Marvel first..? Consultation styles will differ by hospital, but for people like me who go into consultations without knowing much, I recommend going first to a place that explains things in detail.
