It was literally surgery I was getting again, and because I was anxious, like what if it fails again this time? I think I couldn’t decide easily. I also had a thought that if it turned out natural and good, I should write a review, and I feel really relieved that I’m writing this now..
When I had my first surgery before, that time I also did it non-incisionally and did it together with ptosis correction. I’ve always thought that even if I get cosmetic surgery, naturalness< is important, so that’s why I did it non-incisionally, but even though I did ptosis correction too.. my eyes stayed the same when opening, and as the right eye line gradually loosened, my eyes became blurry-looking.
So from early 2020 I went around to a lot of revision surgery consultations lol? But most said I had to do incision, or that I had to make the double-eyelid line completely flashy.. I only heard things that didn’t match my taste, and when my confidence about revision surgery was gradually falling, I ended up getting a consultation here.
What I liked was that I could do it with the non-incisional method I wanted, and they also recommended an upper canthoplasty. Since I hadn’t gotten the effect I wanted from ptosis correction, they said it would be good to open up my stuffy-looking eyes with upper canthoplasty, and if I didn’t want to do it, I didn’t have to, and we could go with a method of making the line a bit higher instead. I liked most that they explained several options like that.
But no matter how much I thought about it, I felt an in-out line would be best. So instead of raising the double-eyelid line a lot, I said I would do upper canthoplasty together, and after finishing the consultation and coming out.. I still kept worrying. Whether it would go well, whether recovery would be fast.. Because I was worried, I couldn’t easily make the decision, and in the end several years passed like that lol.
When I started looking into doing revision surgery again from early this year, this hospital just came to mind first. Back then I had gone in person to compare places and had seen a lot of reviews, and I generally liked that recovery looked natural and fast. So I went for another consultation, and at that time the director held the line for me again and, like before, explained several methods during the consultation, so I was able to come out with a surgery date scheduled.
Honestly, because it was revision surgery, I didn’t decide by looking at the line alone. The fact that after-service is available for up to 3 years, and that they do things like swelling + bruise laser after surgery also felt like big advantages.
The photos I uploaded as after revision surgery are from 1 month. Before that, honestly, as everyone looking into revision surgery will understand, I purposely didn’t take many photos so I wouldn’t think bad thoughts.. lol Around one month, I felt this was enough for the swelling to have gone down a lot and for things to be settling, so I took them.
As I wanted, the line is not excessively high and I feel like my eyes look natural now, so I’m pretty satisfied. It took a considerable amount of time from deciding on revision surgery, going to consultations, and actually getting the surgery, but with this result, I’m going to let go of my lingering feelings about my eyes now lol.
It’s one month, and it looks pretty natural, right? I hope everyone also thinks about it for a long time like me before getting revision surgery. Of course, don’t take longer than me lol.
