I think this will be my 4th revision surgery. I’m planning to do the nasal bridge + nasal tip with donated dermis. How is the absorption rate? I heard the absorption rate is lower than autologous dermis..
First, my history is: For my first surgery, I used septal cartilage + silicone + ear cartilage and raised my nasal tip and nasal bridge, but my nasal bridge kept becoming crooked.. They re-carved the silicone and put it back in, and the crookedness was corrected, but I guess the height got a bit lower… Then in early February, while having paranasal augmentation surgery, because of the implant placed beside my nose, I guess my nasal tip became upturned
I always liked the shape of my nasal tip, but it feels too shortened and upturned, so I’m looking into revision surgery.
I’ve always done it at the same hospital, and I’ll do it here this time too. The director said they would overlay dermis on the nasal tip so it comes down a bit,
and for the nasal bridge too, they suggested removing the silicone and putting in donated dermis.. Please tell me reviews about the absorption rate of donated dermis
If I remove the silicone and have revision surgery for no reason, and then it gets absorbed and all disappears… I wonder if it might be better to just not do it and live with my nose a bit upturned as it is now Ah.. revision nose surgery is so difficult
