I had surgery almost 6? 7? years ago, and I’m still doing well. I was satisfied with the care at the time, and it was cheekbone reduction surgery without fixation devices, so it was exactly the right surgery for me, since I would lose it if I felt a foreign-body sensation inside my body. But it was done through an intraoral incision (I was notified right before the surgery on the day of), so the scar tissue inside my mouth has been a bit uncomfortable after surgery. Still, if I could go back to the past, I would get the surgery again and would have gotten scar-tissue injections much earlier. Since it’s inside the mouth, even giving the injections is difficult, and it’s been so long that it seems like even getting injections now won’t make it better....
