Of course I wouldn't choose surgery just based on the hospital interior, but I think the system matters too, so I could feel that it was an older hospital. Personally, the consultant only gave mechanical explanations, so I didn't feel she was friendly. Instead, I felt the doctor's consultation was a little better. They were very specific and meticulous.. Depending on how you take it, it could feel like a professor's lecture. They said I don't have no eyelid fat at all, and my skin isn't thin either, so it doesn't have to be a full incision, but partial incision would give better fixation. When I looked upward, the Mongolian fold was slightly indented, so they recommended doing epicanthoplasty together. They said both in-out and semi-out would be fine, but in the doctor's view, in-out would be better. They said ptosis correction was up to me because I could do it or not do it. Strong pressure to book the same day.

Maybe because I went here second after the first one, the cleaner feeling seemed even more maximized. The doctor's consultation was longer than the consultant's, so to start with the doctor consultation: here too, they were kind and examined me in detail. They considered how my eyes open and close, and even the proportions between my forehead, eyebrows, and eyes, and told me what kind of eye surgery would be good. What especially stayed with me was that they said canthoplasty is always optional, not mandatory. They said with any surgery, once you get greedy, it easily becomes excessive, and they recommend surgery only to the extent that, in the doctor's view, would make you prettier at the best level. Here they recommended incision. They said incision is not like before, with severe swelling and obvious incision lines remaining, and that I should have surgery with a method suited to my tissue quality so it won't come undone easily. For epicanthoplasty, when I said I wanted a semi-out line, the doctor drew the line for me and first asked what I wanted to do about this part, since the Mongolian fold was indented like this. The consultant went over the diagnosis again and explained the cost, aftercare, and precautions I need to follow after surgery. There was no pressure to book, but there was a same-day discount, so I put down a deposit. I also liked the doctor's consultation the most.. But I haven't set a date yet.

After going to the third place, I realized the interior differences between hospitals are really distinct lol Among the places I visited, the consultant here was the kindest and had a style that listened with a lot of empathy, kind of like an F. But the consultant tends to give various diagnoses first.. After hearing my concerns, she said she would recommend lateral canthoplasty rather than epicanthoplasty. The doctor came in wearing surgical scrubs, maybe because they had just finished surgery. Personally, it was the first time I'd seen that, so I was a little flustered.. but we started the consultation right away. They said my eyes are good for making a double eyelid, recommended incision as the surgical method, and, same as the consultant, recommended lateral canthoplasty rather than epicanthoplasty. The diagnosis moved along smoothly without any blocked points. Whenever I asked a question, the doctor answered clearly, so I felt it was a helpful consultation without anything frustrating. I also liked the part where they said, to manage the doctor's condition, they do as few as 1 surgery a day and even at most not more than 3. There was a recommendation to book. They didn't push hard, but they did say several times to at least put something down before leaving. I didn't feel it was an unpleasant suggestion. If I had gone here first instead of the second hospital, I might have considered it, but since I'd already put down a deposit at one place, putting down more money felt burdensome, so I said I'd think about it and left.
I did put down a deposit, but I don't think it's final..! Until I set the surgery date, I'm going to keep looking into it, weighing things, and comparing.
