I had surgery with Contoura Vision. Until about day two, there was a very slight pain-like sensation, but after that it was normal. Now I can see freaking well. Sometimes I think I’m wearing glasses. Rubbing my face with dry hands is totally possible; this is such a huge perk. I originally had glare/halos, so I just live with it, but there is nothing else, so it is fine.
Instead, I manage UV exposure very strictly. Because if you don’t take care of it, you’re seriously screwed. I’m going for a checkup tomorrow, and last time they said my intraocular pressure came out high, so I’m a little nervous. I’ll tell you a review after I go and come back. Both eyes are easily 1.2. Originally, I thought even 1.0 would be freaking nice, but it keeps going up, so I think that’s good. They say that, anyway, it drops a little with age, but the chance of it falling below 1.0 is almost none.
My corneal thickness is 600, so I did it with peace of mind. I think my pupil size was about 7.5.
