Nose Surgery Reviews

1 year and 3 months after nose surgery that had complications

Before and after <after - 10 months after surgery (scar tissue)>After <2 weeks after scar-tissue injection>After <6 weeks after scar-tissue injection> Somehow it’s already been 1 year and 3 months since my nose surgery.

If you look at what I wrote before, you’ll know, right after surgery I suffered from blood pooling + scar tissue.

That was when it had been 1 month after surgery,, But then and now are different again:-)

In conclusion, satisfaction is about 50%? Compared with when I was experiencing complications, my nose has become much more comfortable

My nose was short, with thick skin and a lot of flesh, a typical bulbous nose. Comparing the early post-op period, when swelling and scar tissue were very excessive, with now, honestly the bulbous nose wasn’t corrected well.

However, the nasal tissue has softened a lot now, and after getting scar-tissue injections a total of 4 times, I do feel like my nose has become slimmer!

If you look at the photos, the nose shapes are all different, I got scar-tissue injections a total of 4 times. I got them twice early after surgery (I don’t remember the exact timing) Then after a year passed, my nose was fat again.. I got one on March 20 and got another today, April 29. (It’s not good to get them often, but out of greed)

The first photo is the nose shape I’m dissatisfied with. The nasal tip dropped quite a lot, and the nasal dorsum is raised because of scar tissue. In the later photos, I gradually got scar-tissue injections on the nasal dorsum too, so the shape does improve little by little in a prettier way, in its own way. At 15 months, from some angles, my nose even looks pretty lolᩚ So to some extent, I do think time is medicine for the nose.

It’s not very visible from the side, but my nose is still big From a full side view, the nose looks sharp, but from the front and around 45 degrees, the nasal dorsum and nasal tip are still blunt. There’s a lot of flesh.

So the hospital where I had surgery also offered an A/S request.. I’m still considering revision surgery. With bulbous noses, the more they’re opened, the more scar tissue tends to become excessive. And I don’t think there are many hospitals that do it well.. Since I had major complications during my first surgery, I can’t easily choose revision surgery.

Still, I don’t regret having nose surgery! Compared with the stress I had over my old nose, the suffering from the blood-pooling complication was something I had prepared myself for, so I could endure it. My nose shape isn’t as pretty as other people’s, but I live thinking that I’m very fortunate there are no major complications

To all the friends reading my post! Please don’t take nose surgery lightly. And as I said in my previous post! I hope only those whose complex is so severe that it could lead to social withdrawal, and who are prepared for complications, do it!!

Hoping my review helps someone- (I posted it on the free board and then moved it!)
