Nose Surgery Reviews

I had hump nose and drooping tip nose surgery with autologous rib cartilage

My biggest concerns before surgery were a hump nose that looked like a man's nose, an arrow-shaped nose that spread when smiling, and a drooping nose tip. About 10 years ago, I saw a friend have surgery with Teacher Kim Dae-hwa and be happy with the result, which is what made me decide on nose surgery, and when I saw that the doctor was at Lowell, I chose right away. Before the consultation, I wanted to raise only the tip of my nose without any implant, but the doctor recommended a 3D implant for the bridge, so I trusted that and went ahead, and I am very satisfied with the result haha So for the bridge I used the 3D implant Fit Me, and for the tip I used autologous rib cartilage. If I had only raised the tip, the bridge would have become lower because of osteotomy, and there would not have been much difference before and after, so I would have been disappointed. It has only been one month, but people around me say my nose now looks similar to the celebrity-style nose I wanted, so I am getting compliments. I have seen people say rib-cartilage surgery is painful, but I was not really in pain even on the day of surgery. My nose had no pain at all, and only the rib-cartilage area felt a bit sore when I sneezed or strained. Maybe because of the osteotomy, I got a lot of bruising on my cheeks and around my eyes, so I diligently used swelling medicine I bought at the pharmacy and ice packs for a week, and thanks to that, by week 2 the shape had become very natural. I felt like it was worth obsessing over the swelling management in the early stage. I am still getting used to my new nose, so when I wash my face I cannot do it as freely as before and have to be careful, and if my nose itches I have to use cotton swabs, so I always carry them with me. I think I had my first nose surgery with Dr. Kim Dae-hwa in a good way, and I am looking forward to how it will look after the fine swelling goes down at 6 months.
