After going to several hospitals and comparing options, I ended up getting the procedure at Wannabe! The short columella area and small nasal tip had always been a complex for me, so I looked for places that could make a clear change mainly at the tip, and the place that seemed the best fit was Wannabe Plastic Surgery.
From the reviews, the round bulbous tip looked beautifully refined, so I gathered a few review photos that looked similar to me and went in for a consultation! When I got there, there was a small snack bar inside and a coffee machine, so I could make an iced Americano for myself. There were quite a lot of people, so the wait was a bit long, but after having a cup of coffee and using my phone, I got into the consultation room quickly.
The consultation with the director was generally satisfying. I decided to have the surgery using donated costal cartilage. My nose was so small and rounded that I wondered, 'Can it really change that much?' but I remember being hugely surprised when the splint came off. It turned out far better than I had imagined, and everyone told me, 'Why do you look so much prettier now?', 'Your nose suits you so much better now,' and 'You look like a different person!' Since quite a lot of time has passed after the surgery, the old version of my nose now feels somewhat awkward.
I do occasionally have the unfortunate situation of looking away from my old selfies without even realizing it haha, but I think that is also a happy side effect of a successful surgery.
