Review after consultation for tip cartilage binding

Hi everyone, I brought a review of my consultation for tip cartilage binding. First of all, I only consulted about tip cartilage binding. The overall consultation feeling was... there was less to it than I expected, and it was a simple procedure. In my imagination, I thought that a rhinoplasty consultation would involve very specific explanations and that they would talk about the nasolabial angle, nasal bridge, height, and so on, but no, not at all. There was no CT scan or anything like that. They explained things while showing me before-and-after cases similar to mine and touching my nostrils and nasal tip with their hands. The consultation ended in about 10 minutes (that may vary from person to person, so it could be different if you ask a lot of questions). I thought first-time visitors might be surprised by this, so I wanted to say so in advance! I was like, is this really a consultation or what? lol It would be good to know that beforehand! [Clinic A] (Director [Doctor A]) Price 1.35 million Reservation deposit: 50,000 won, refundable, no pressure Photos: yes, front, side, and nostrils visible like this My nose condition (according to the consulting doctor): the nasal bridge is not especially low, but the tip is slightly dropped (if you want to improve this part, add ear cartilage). The nasal skin is not particularly thick, the cartilage can be felt right away, and it is in a spread-out state, so they said I would see good results. Q. Will narrowing the width of the nose make the nostrils stand out more or make the midface look longer? A. No. Rather, the front view of the nose becomes slimmer and the overall facial proportions come into balance. You currently feel that the nostrils are large relative to your face, but what happens when that is refined? The overall proportions come into balance. However, the nostrils may become more noticeable. In that case, you can try cartilage binding first and later consider nasal-shaping if needed. Q. Pinched nose, uneven nostrils, a crooked bridge, nostrils getting wider? A. No. Because only the front view and the side view are improved, that will not happen. The surgery is done so that it does not happen. Q. Scar tissue (I said I was worried because I have a keloid tendency). A. They said not to worry. Probably because the incision is made inside the nose. Q. What is the difference between the two directors? A. Not really any difference. Q. Will the tip feel hard after surgery? A. That can happen right after surgery, and it takes about one to three months to go back to normal. Q. I am currently in orthodontic treatment. Will that be a problem? A. No. Other than that, they explained things while showing me cases similar to my nose. I think seeing photos is the most accurate. In this kind of case, the front view improves, and there is almost no change to the tip from the side view. I think it can probably create the feeling I want. [Clinic B] Price 1.89 million to 3 million (I was quoted 1.89 million for something in August) There is a reservation deposit, but no pressure, though only 90% is refundable Photos: no Here too, they kept saying it is a simple procedure overall. Maybe because it is not a surgery where they add something and build up the height. The director just looked at my face, touched my nasal tip and nostrils, and conducted the consultation. The overall Q&A was the same as at [Clinic A] (the reason the review here is so short is really because it was too similar to [Clinic A], sorry for that). To finish, my impression is that this seems like a good procedure for people who want a front-view effect. It is not particularly recommended if you want side-view changes. If you do not want a huge change to your nose shape, but want it to look slimmer from the front, this seems like the right procedure. Improving a drooping tip and raising the height would of course require adding something to the nose. +++++ Honestly, you can just watch the tip cartilage-binding Q&A video on the clinic's YouTube channel... I felt like I was just going there to confirm whether this procedure would work on my nose or not. +++++ The clinic in my previous post, [Clinic A], was the YouTube clinic, right? I asked the consultation coordinator whether the recovery room was really here.
