Before before after after I had hump nose + bulbous nose surgery without implants. It has now been one month since surgery!
Since I was young, my broad, bulbous nose and the hump nose in my side profile had been complexes, so I made a big decision and received rhinoplasty from a plastic surgeon.
Before deciding, I consulted at about 7 places in total, and the reason I chose this clinic was based mainly on two things: whether the direction I wanted matched the doctor's values, and whether postoperative aftercare seemed likely to be good.
While going to consultations, I don't think anyone explained the surgery as thoroughly as this doctor did. I was impressed by how kindly they explained the surgical method and direction suited to my nose, so I made the final decision thinking it would be okay to have surgery here.
Rather than a nose that is too high and glamorous, I wanted a natural image improvement like my own nose, and I like that the surgery seems to have gone well without implants according to my needs!
After surgery, I did become bothered by the inconvenience of treating my nose like something precious, worrying that it might bump into something or get pressed for no reason, but in conclusion, now I have no major discomfort and I like the shape improvement, so I think I'm glad I had the surgery. Still, surgery should always be approached carefully, so those who are considering it should think about it from many angles before deciding!
