It has been about 5 years since I had revision surgery.
My personal preference is to pursue extreme naturalness. Something that does not look like surgery at all.
For my first surgery, I had silicone + septal cartilage used for the nasal tip.
The problem then was that the glabella was too high. It may be because I became aware of it after having surgery, but when I work at a company, among people who have had rhinoplasty, those with a high glabella look obvious. And if the nasal tip is too slim, it looks obvious along with a pinched feeling.
I had a second surgery to lower the glabella. While lowering the glabella, I had surgery to replace the nasal bridge with ear cartilage. I don’t know the reason, but in general, clinics seem to regard silicone as a better material for the nasal bridge. Because I did not want a very slim nose, I was satisfied with the nasal bridge.
During the revision surgery, ear cartilage was used to remove the overly slim look of the nasal tip. Because of this, the nose became thicker and aesthetically slightly worse. But in terms of naturalness, it improved.
