For the first surgery, my eyes looked too sleepy, and as a man my outer double eyelids were very pronounced, so I thought I should lower the double eyelid crease and get a clearer-looking eye shape. I had my first surgery in 2022.03, and even then I was satisfied enough to leave a review here! Some people actually told me directly that I looked pretty haha~ As time passed, I started to feel like the inner corners of my eyes looked too covered, and the director also noticed that, so since it seemed like the epicanthal folds were the issue, he suggested an inner (upper) epicanthoplasty. So I had my second surgery in 2022.11. Even that looked pretty, but on the right side, the line felt not just low, but droopy. When I talked about this in 2023.11, the director picked up on the part I mentioned, scheduled the surgery, and I had it in 2024.03 (a few days ago). It has been about 10 days now, and I feel like it has become prettier, so I’m satisfied.
<During the consultation before the final surgery> Before doing it, what I was worried about was that the director said the line needed to be raised more, and that if I did it this time, the double eyelid might become visible, so I worried a lot, like, “Then won’t I end up with outer double eyelids?” On the day of surgery, the director also said that if I didn’t want the double eyelid to show, he recommended not doing it, so I even thought maybe I should leave right then. Still, I thought the drooping seemed worse, so I decided to just try it, and it actually ended up being a plus, so I’m really happy ☺️
A little TMI: right after I took off my sunglasses, the very first thing I heard was at the hair salon, where someone said, “Oh my, you’re pretty! You’re an idol.”
