Under-eye fat repositioning, anterior cheek fat grafting, dual lower blepharoplasty

Before<This is before surgery, and my condition was relatively good lol. When it was bad, it would bulge out >After<This is at 2 months~>For the past 5 to 6 years, people I met often told me I always looked tired. They said that because my under-eye area was bulging out or because of dark circles under my eyes. No matter how well I slept before going out, I kept hearing the same thing every time, so I started to feel stressed. On days when it bulged out especially badly, I even developed social avoidance, so I thought I could no longer leave this stress as it was. While searching a lot for posts about under-eye fat repositioning, I learned about Objet Plastic Surgery, and I decided to find other famous doctors as well, rank them 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and go for consultations. The first place I went to was Objet Plastic Surgery. After first consulting with the consultant, I met the doctor and told him about my biggest concerns. He said that if I did under-eye fat repositioning, dual lower blepharoplasty (lower eyelid surgery from the middle of the eye to the outer corner), and autologous fat grafting to the anterior cheek, I would look a certain way and my stress would almost disappear. It was a very frightening surgery for me, but the doctor said it was a very easy surgery that barely even counted as surgery(?), and even though I asked everything I was curious about, he explained it all kindly and with dignity, resolving my questions. I thought there was no need to go to consultations at the 2nd- and 3rd-choice hospitals. He gave off so much trust that I firmly decided right away to have surgery with Dr. Kim Hyun-jo. On the first day of surgery, when I met the doctor, he had me hold a mirror and carefully checked and designed my under-eye area. The areas where fat was concentrated, the hollow areas, and so on.. He also did not forget to ask whether I had any questions and confirmed everything for me. After perfectly checking the designed under-eye area once more while I was lying on the operating room bed, I think I briefly went on a trip to dreamland. Since I could hear the doctor’s voice and radio music from time to time, I even asked, “Doctor, the surgery has been going well so far, right?” and said, “You must be tired, but please take good care of me until the end~” Hahahaha. The surgery ended like that after about 2 hours, and I came home. Even though it was the first day, it did not hurt much. Strong adhesive tape had been applied to prevent the under-eye area from swelling, and because skin-colored taping was done, I looked very normal. I took the medication I was told to take right on time (I set alarms for medication times~ an obedient patient lol), didn’t do what I was told not to do, and worked very hard on warm and cold compresses. When sleeping, I slept with my back almost upright, so I woke up a lot here and there, but I was able to maintain a good condition. On postoperative day 5, I had the stitches removed from the sutured areas, and when the strong adhesive tape that had been applied to prevent swelling was removed, there was a faint bluish bruise under my eyes. In my case, I think I actually swelled a lot on day 5. Maybe once the tape that had been put on to prevent swelling was removed, it swelled up a lot... At that time, cold compresses and walking were very important. In particular, I can give living testimony that swelling went down a lot because I walked. For cold compresses too, there was no need to overdo it; when the skin tissue started to feel numb, I removed it, and once the skin returned to normal, I applied the compress again. Just doing a lot blindly is not the answer~ Very important!! ^^ I walked quite often then. As expected, walking really reduced swelling quickly. The bruises could all be covered with makeup. On day 10, I met an acquaintance and had coffee, but they didn’t even ask what I had done. I also attended a family event and everyone did not notice... Should I say I was disappointed because it looked too natural? ^^ After a month, the only person who asked anything was a coworker who asked what I had done to my face to make it so firm.. whether I had gotten lifting. Anyway, I feel like I am living a new life now. The under-eye bulging that used to stress me every morning while getting ready for work is gone. I also no longer need to look for thick horn-rimmed glasses to hide the version of myself I disliked. Now I confidently go around without glasses. Most of all, I like myself, so it’s enjoyable to wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and check my under-eye area. Instead, I’m now wondering what I should do to other areas next... and wanting to consult.... ^^ As I write this, it has been exactly two months since surgery, and I am quite satisfied. I am truly, truly grateful to Director Kim Hyun-jo, who performed the surgery, and Manager Kim Nam-hee. I have an appointment in the last week of March for a retouch on the autologous fat grafting to the cheekbone area. Even then, I’m simply happy thinking that the areas that have adhered with my own fat will be filled again. The doctor’s expertise, and the warmth of not taking advantage of patients’ painful feelings for commercial profit, make me think this is the best hospital in every way. I am strongly recommending it to my acquaintances~~
