Since I had the inside of my mouth incised to remove the buccal fat, chewing food was a little difficult on the day of surgery and until the next day, so I mainly ate soft foods. The pain was really just exactly tolerable? I was surprised because it did not hurt as much as I thought. A week after surgery, I had the stitches inside my mouth removed, and I am steadily brushing my teeth and gargling afterward while waiting for my gums to heal. I cannot exercise for the time being either, so I have been walking a lot, like walking home, and I hope the swelling goes down quickly and dramatically even more....
