My original nose was not aesthetically ugly in either the bridge or the tip, and it already had some height (this was something every clinic I consulted at mentioned). I got rhinoplasty because my biggest complex was the uneven, bumpy look from the hump. I’ll leave reviews of the clinics I visited for consultations. -ㄹㅂㄹ Director Yoon This was the first place I went to after making my rhinoplasty list. A friend recommended it because it has one director and good reviews, and it was also a place I had high expectations for after reading reviews. All the consultants were kind, and there were several foreign patients, so I think I waited a bit. They looked carefully at the CT and photos, and said that for my nose, just smoothing the hump and doing osteotomy would probably be enough. But honestly, I wanted my nose to look a little slimmer, and since I was going through with it anyway, I wanted it a bit higher too, so I didn’t choose ㄹㅂㄹ.. They only talked about smoothing the hump on my nose.. The director, consultant, and clinic were good though! The price was in the 4.3 million won range for osteotomy + septal cartilage + ear cartilage, and they said using donated rib cartilage would be an additional 700,000–800,000 won.
-ㄷㄷㅇ Director Eom This is the clinic where my friend had surgery, and it was also the first place I picked while looking at reviews on Babitalk. When I first walked in, unlike ㄹㅂㄹ, there were a lot of people in the clinic and many people who had surgery that day, so I thought it must be a popular clinic. The consultant was also kind. I liked the reviews from people who had plastic surgery there, and I also thought my friend’s nose was pretty. But since it was only my second consultation, and the director said that even if the hump was smoothed, it could still be a little uneven after surgery, so using about 2–3 mm of silicone would look pretty, but that it was optional, I think I hesitated. The price was also cheap after an acquaintance discount and including a review, but they didn’t take a CT separately, and since it was my second consultation, I didn’t decide on it.. They quoted around 3.8 million won for osteotomy + bulbous nose correction + silicone (optional) + acquaintance discount, and I think it was 4.2 million won if using donated rib cartilage.
-ㅁㅇㄷ Director Lee After booking consultations at three places, I felt like I needed more consultations, so I added ㅁㅇㄷ and went there third. The clinic itself was clean, the consultant was kind, and I think it was a clinic where I really liked the director too. The director looked extremely carefully at the CT and photos, and here they even checked my nostrils very thoroughly. They said that even without an implant, they could sufficiently create the line I wanted with my nose, so I think I liked it even more. The price quoted here was the most expensive, around 5 million won. They said they would do 4.5 million won if I booked the same day, but I wanted to come back once more with my mom, so I didn’t put down a deposit and went again another day. At that time they said 4.8 million won, so I put down a deposit for now, then saw other clinics and canceled.. haha (My friend said the ㅁㅇㄷ review lines didn’t seem that special, and at the three clinics I went to, they mentioned silicone, so I started thinking that if I did it without an implant it might turn out uneven, and then my mind changed again..)
-ㅇㄴㅂ Director Cha Unlike other clinics, this clinic is on the first floor, and the director had a lot of experience. I think I booked it because the lines in the reviews looked pretty. They also took a CT here and checked everything carefully. They said my nasal bridge was on the higher side, but because of the unevenness, they mentioned silicone, and I think the price range was under the low 4 millions. (Up to ㅇㄴㅂ, I think I liked ㅁㅇㄷ the most, because their aftercare and consultation somehow felt the most thorough..?)

I felt like I needed more consultations, so I booked ㅍㄹㅁㅇ, and since many people go there because it’s famous, I went too. Maybe because it’s a famous clinic, even though it was 10 a.m., there were a lot of people and there was some waiting. The consultation consultant didn’t feel extremely kind, just so-so. They said the director was going into surgery, so after meeting the consultant, it took a long time until I saw the director.. Here too, they similarly said osteotomy was essential, and that my original nose wasn’t bad. They talked about smoothing the hump and silicone, but said silicone was optional. Since three places had mentioned using silicone, I thought it would probably be better to use silicone, so I decided to use silicone.. Also, all the other clinics talked about septal cartilage and said they would use donated rib cartilage if there wasn’t enough after opening it up, but I think only ㅍㄹㅁㅇ suggested using donated rib cartilage from the start. The price was 5 million won, but because the wait got long, they lowered it to 4.8 million won. The price was the most expensive.
After consulting up to ㅍㄹㅁㅇ, I thought it might be better to do silicone + donated rib cartilage for 4.8 million won, and since it was a famous clinic, I just decided on ㅍㄹㅁㅇ. Right now it’s been 9 days since my rhinoplasty, and I think I’ll have to wait and see about the glabella area and swelling. I do like that it became smoother, but I think I’ll have to wait and see.. +ㅍㄹㅁㅇ is famous, but I’m not sure if the consultants are nice. Even when taking photos, the way they said things like “please look here” felt not that great.
