My eyes are big, but my concerns are uneven lines + thick upper eyelids. For my nose, my nasal tip is high, but I’m dissatisfied with the bridge.
1. ㅇㅇ This was my first consultation. The consultant said my eyes don’t need ptosis correction, and that just suturing would probably make them look much better. When I said I was also thinking about my nose, she said if I’m dissatisfied with the bridge, I should try nasal filler first. (This cooled my desire for nose surgery.) She said even if I had surgery, they would probably use a closed approach. She was very friendly and kind. (She talked a lot about my strengths, like my eyes having a good sparkle and that I have dimples.) When I met the director and talked, they said the eyes would need incision, and the nose would need an open approach using septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone. When I said I was concerned about my thick upper eyelids, they said that was because my eyelid skin itself is thick and it would get better as I get older. (This cooled my desire for eye surgery.)
Total price: eyes (100) + nose (200) = 300
2. ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ The consultant also reacted like my eyes would be good to do, but the nose wasn’t really necessary. Then she asked which I wanted more between eyes and nose, and when I honestly said nose, she suddenly changed her words and said something like doing only the nose would be perfect. She said the same thing as the director at ㅇㅇ about the thick upper eyelids. The director said the eyes don’t need ptosis correction and would be done by buried sutures, and the nose would be done with septal cartilage + silicone. When I said my nasal tip is already high, so if it’s raised more, it might be too high, they said that if I only do the bridge, not only would it not be possible to raise it much, but a double contour could form, so the tip needs to be raised together too.
In the end, I thought touching my eyes unnecessarily might change my impression too much, so I decided to do only my nose at ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ and paid a deposit. But as time passes, I can’t stop thinking that even the nose is too much. I’m planning to call tomorrow or the day after to cancel and get my deposit refunded...

Before getting consultations, I had also researched online for about a year and a half. I was half-and-half about my eyes, but for my nose I was determined that I absolutely would do it. But when I went for consultations, the reactions from the consultants and directors were like, why would you even do it, so my passion cooled and I’m planning to just get filler... +) I judged that there isn’t enough merit to carry the risk of having to be careful with my nose for life and not knowing when inflammation might occur and cause problems.
Also, while researching online, I only looked at before-and-after reviews, price information, and surgical methods, and I had never really watched post-surgery vlogs in detail. (Because if I was going to have surgery anyway, I thought I could endure any pain, so it wasn’t that important.) But after setting the surgery date, I got curious and watched a few vlogs, and I started thinking, I’m not some celebrity who makes a living off my face, so do I really need to go through all that?
In conclusion, even if you feel extremely desperate right now, think it over again and again, weigh everything carefully, and then decide. I heard that before rhinoplasty, the consent form says the incidence of side effects is 1.x-2.x%, but if that happens to me, it’s 100%, so you must know that and only do it when you are absolutely confident you can willingly endure everything if that happens.
After diligently searching for information for quite a long time and then, in a way, giving up(?) on what I wanted, I felt a bit empty, so I rambled on like writing a diary... I realized again that cosmetic surgery isn’t something just anyone can do just because they have money and time; it really is a form of self-management. Although I’m giving up, I still hope everyone researches online, goes to consultations diligently, gets surgery, recovers well, and succeeds I should go look up filler information now....
