Nose Surgery Reviews

I did so much legwork for my hump nose and finally had surgery!!!! 2 weeks post-op...

I seriously thought about surgery for my huuuuuump nose for 5 years, and finally, thinking that if I was going to worry this much I might as well just get the surgery, I did it..!!!!! I wanted it to look natural, and since improving the hump was my main goal, I searched a lot for non-implant options!! It has been 2 weeks since surgery now..!! I really like it..

At first, after surgery, I had so little swelling and bruising that my friend was surprised too I had also heard that swelling is usually bad on days 2-3 after surgery, but I barely had any swelling, so I was happy and also confused.. lol. hahaha

The surgical plan was non-implant hump improvement, columella support, use of ear cartilage, use of fascia to slightly raise the glabella, and a small amount of septal cartilage!!

I am the kind of person with a super strong J tendency, over 90%, so I did a ton of online research and went to 5 clinics in person, and the reason I chose this place was the extremely meticulous consultation with the director!!! Of course the consultant was very kind too.. and whenever I asked questions, they answered so kindly.. They say plastic surgery decisions depend on how well the consultation style fits you, right..? So.. after I had a consultation here.. I think I was about 80% decided

As I went around to 5 places, 3 of them took CT scans, only touched the outside of my nose, and said my septum was not small, so it would be good to use it, so I thought, okay, I can use septal cartilage But when I first went for a consultation here, the director felt my septum and said, “Yes, it is true that the septum is large enough, but the septal cartilage itself is very thin, so if we rely only on septal cartilage, the nose could become crooked later. So I think we should go in the direction of using ear cartilage rather than septal cartilage.” Those words really struck me Compared with the explanations I heard elsewhere, it felt like they were looking more closely at my nose, so I think that gave me more confidence.. For example, they said that when I smile, I use the glabella area quite a bit, so the hump looks more emphasized, and that may be why I was more bothered by it when smiling They also said the shape of my right and left sides of the nose is a little different, so surgery would need to be done while adjusting that part... They were not just looking at the nose, but while planning the nose surgery, they looked at the overall balance and checked my nose over and over during the consultation, so I trusted them more!!

And the fact that they only do 1 to at most 2 surgeries a day also helped me decide!! (Of course there are other plastic surgery clinics like that too!!)

Because I really did not want revision surgery.. I looked into it a lot before doing it.. People around me have been complimenting me a lot too, and personally I feel like I have more confidence in my side profile, so these days I keep thinking I should have done it way sooner during those 5 years I spent worrying

If you see it as pretty.. I would be so grateful.. I hope everyone in this community gets a successful nose surgery!!

I hope my post helps even a little!! I’ll come back after some more time passes and the swelling goes down!!!
