I’m 2 weeks post-op after ASO surgery ASO + chin tip
I don’t know how many times I hesitated before lying down on the operating table. First, this was my condition: my aesthetic line was protrusive, my lips stuck out farther than my nose, and I had a recessed chin. From the side, my aesthetic line was completely off. Both the upper and lower jaw were set back by 5 mm. Looking from the front and side, the gum bone outline has become defined.
Post-op days 1-5 Because I’m an impatient guy, I started blowing my nose from day 2. When I blew my nose, something like a gray bloody clot came out. Also, I’m on the thinner side, so I thought even if the swelling was bad, it would go down quickly. Until day 2, I had every possible thought. I even wondered if I should go to the hospital with gasoline. My face looked like it had gotten extremely long. My skin also seemed to be sagging or melting downward, and I didn’t even realize my chin tip had been operated on. I had chin tip reduction surgery together with it, but only afterward did I remember it. Did the doctor forget to reduce it? Honestly, I still suspect that even now. In the end, swelling was the issue.
I can’t eat rice. I’ve been living on porridge for 2 weeks now. They say you can use your molars? Maybe I recover quickly, but I feel my upper and lower teeth touching, and my molar occlusion doesn’t match either, so I’m planning to get orthodontic treatment soon.

I’ll only know after all the swelling goes down, but in terms of appearance, my satisfaction is 50%. Next week I’m going to the hospital to take photos and check whether they really cut the chin tip. My chin looks too long. Is it swelling... I’m really going crazy lolololololol
