My daughter wanted double eyelid surgery, so we were looking into it. Someone we know had it done at one clinic and it looked natural, so we went there for our first consultation. Both the consultant and the director were kind. They explained each point with professional knowledge. After looking at my daughter’s eyes, they recommended epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and natural adhesion buried suture double eyelid surgery. I was surprised because the cost was expensive. Last year, an acquaintance had it done at an event price for a very low cost. After that consultation, the second plastic surgery clinic we went to was another clinic. Even though we had made a reservation, we waited about 1 hour, and I was surprised because there were so many consultants. In this consultation too, we were recommended a similar set of 3 procedures as at the first clinic. The price was a little cheaper. The consultant said there would be a little more discount if we reserved that day, but I thought we should visit a few more places before deciding, so we just left. Since we live outside Seoul, it’s a shame we could only visit 2 places. Eye surgery may be the simplest surgery among surgeries, but I keep thinking it is also the most important surgery. So I think we need to compare more carefully, look into it more, and then decide. We have also already arranged consultations at clinics in Seoul this week, and I hope they are good clinics so she can have it done soon.
