This is a functional rhinoplasty consultation review.
I have chronic rhinitis, and I’ve long been interested in rhinitis surgery because I want to breathe well. While looking into rhinitis surgery, I found out that some people also improve aesthetic aspects at the same time, so I started looking into functional rhinoplasty.
Since I have rhinitis, I was afraid of developing problems with my nose, so, in case any side effects occurred, I mainly visited clinics that said all aesthetic aspects could be done with autologous cartilage.
1. ㅊㄷㅊ Clinic The detailed explanation and confident manner made me trust them. I liked that they said the nasal bridge could be done with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and it was nice that they did a virtual simulation using photos. However, for the rhinitis surgery part, I heard that these days it’s usually done with radiofrequency, but that didn’t seem to be the case here... If not for that point, I might have decided on this place. The cosmetic fee is high, but the rhinitis surgery fee only includes exactly what’s needed, so the total fee is just okay.
2. ㅅㅇㅇㅇ Plastic Surgery As with No. 1, their confident manner and detailed explanation stood out. They said they would try to use septal cartilage as much as possible, and I also liked the before-and-after photos. They also do rhinitis surgery with radiofrequency, the rhinitis surgery fee was high, and the cosmetic fee was exceptionally low. However... around the time I was deciding to have surgery, I ended up seeing a bad review on an app. Fortunately, I don’t see it now, so maybe it was resolved well. I know there can’t be only good reviews, but I happened to see it right when I was debating...
3. ㅈㅇㅈ Hospital I went because I heard they specialize in rhinitis. They said that to do it safely without implants, even for a first surgery, autologous costal cartilage would be needed, so I’m worried. But hospitalization is possible, and since it’s a hospital, it felt systematic. However, for the aesthetic part, they only explained things roughly based on my photos, so that was disappointing. Also, there aren’t many reviews... Since it’s autologous costal cartilage, the fee is not low even for a first surgery. The consultation was also on the curt side, but strangely, I’m drawn to it because of the rhinitis-surgery aspect...;;
