I developed contracture just 1 year after nose surgery. I didn’t even have time to enjoy whether my nose looked good or bad; it happened in such a short time What I focused on most was properly restoring the nasal tip, and I mainly looked at revision surgery skill, experience, experience with contracted noses, and expertise in autologous costal cartilage.
The reason I chose ㄹㅅㅌ was honestly, I felt there wasn’t anything lacking, but if I had to pick reasons, I liked the nasal tip shape (slim and high, but not sharp at all), and the AS period was long, things like that? Also, I felt trust during the consultation with the director, and the consultant didn’t pressure me, so it was fine.
For the surgery, they removed the silicone and only worked on the nasal tip using autologous costal cartilage. Rather than pursuing a nose shape with dramatic three-dimensional volume now, I really didn’t want to lie on an operating table again or open up my nose again!! I think my main feeling was to restore the damaged shape and proceed safely.
It’s now just over 3 months, and as the swelling goes down, I can see the shape settling. I was so sick of this whole process that I made a big decision to remove the silicone and not put it back in.. Now I just hope I can keep this nose for a long time with no inflammation.. no contracture and no worries.
To everyone looking into revision surgery, fighting, and even if it’s your first surgery, I hope everyone looking into nose surgery makes a careful and wise decision!
