Breast Re-Surgery

For those who had breast revision surgery

I’m currently considering revision surgery to replace my implants. It’s not that the feel is due to capsular contracture or that it’s terribly bad, but at the time, I didn’t really look up much information and just went straight with BellaGel.. But since BellaGel itself has a firm, bouncy feel, I don’t like how it feels (It’s been 4 years since I had it done)

So I’m thinking of switching to Mentor Smooth. I went back to the hospital where I had it done, but the director was kind of.. unlike during my first surgery, he looked at it really carelessly and said things like, “Let’s just not do it..?” So I went to two hospitals specializing in revision surgery, and of course they were very kind and explained in detail what would be good and how.. And both revision-specialty hospitals said that I don’t currently have any problem, and because my progress is good, it would be a “low-difficulty revision surgery.”

However, the hospital where I had my first surgery would only charge me the implant cost for the revision, while one of the revision-specialty hospitals is almost twice as much, and the other is almost three times as much..

I want to switch from BellaGel > Mentor Smooth like this. Do I really have to go to a hospital specializing in revision surgery? Are there any of you who had revision surgery at the same hospital and were satisfied?

To begin with, for the shape, I like a slightly sagging U U shape, but mine is way too round.. But if that’s the doctor’s skill, then there’s no hope even if I do it at the same hospital..
