Before/after<About one month after surgery>Before/after I really did so much online and in-person research, stayed up all night reading rhinoplasty reviews, studied, and went for consultations. First of all, after continuously looking at reviews, I felt like large hospitals really didn’t suit me, so I only went to consultations at one-doctor or two-doctor clinics. You can tell from my nose, but a bulbous nose plus a hooked nose, seriously ha… I could only sigh;; Looking at my pre-surgery nose photos after a long time is hitting me hard with reality lol
For the surgery, the doctor’s opinion was that my nasal bridge was already high, so we didn’t put in silicone. After taking a CT scan, they said it seemed like we could use my septal cartilage and ear cartilage, so that was a relief.. These days, I don’t know if autologous costal cartilage is trending, but when I look at nose surgery posts, there are so many reviews using autologous costal cartilage, so I was worried what I’d do if they told me to use it too. Ah! Of course, there was also a clinic that recommended autologous costal cartilage to me Right now I really like it lol If you look at the photos in the middle, even at the one-month mark the swelling in my nose hadn’t gone down enough, so I wondered if it looked a bit overdone, but after 2 months passed, and now that it’s been about 100 days, it’s become a nice nose lol
Everyone, what do your parents say when you get surgery? In my case they were really against it, but after I had the surgery, these days they tell me I did well. It’s no secret that my mom kind of wants to do it too!!!! lol My mom’s nose is a bit bulbous too lolol I really should take my mom for a consultation sometime
