I booked through ㄱㄴㅇㄴ and went. It was raining and traffic was bad, so I was 40 minutes late for my appointment, and I waited about an hour before the consultation. I consulted with the consultant first and then met the director. It’s a single-director clinic, and he was very kind. He answered everything I asked, so the consultation lasted over 30 minutes. While looking at the CT, I also asked a few questions about other bone areas besides the nose, and he looked at everything carefully.
Mine is a revision surgery, and even though I didn’t first mention the parts I’m dissatisfied with in my current nose, he pointed them all out. He said he would make the incision through the area incised during the first surgery and use donated costal cartilage to support the columella area. When I asked whether donated costal cartilage has a higher possibility of side effects than one’s own cartilage, he said that is true, but the reason nasal side effects occur is excessive desire, and as long as it isn’t like that, I shouldn’t worry too much.
