So far I have visited 5 places: ㄴㅌ, ㅇㄹ, ㅅㄷ, ㅍㅇㅅ21, and ㅇㅇ. I narrowed down the list through online research, and since I wondered if I was lacking oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics, I booked 2 more places, but got exhausted and canceled the 2 places I booked later. (ㅁㅇㅇㄷ, ㅁㅅ)
1. ㄴㅌ (no consultation fee, wait under 30 minutes): This is the place where I currently have a date reservation. It was the place I had wanted to choose from the beginning. They consult exactly like they do on YouTube, and they are not authoritarian or unfriendly; they give good consultations. The consultant also did not excessively pressure me for a deposit and was not coercive, so I was satisfied. The facilities are nice, and it feels like they pay attention to aftercare too! The price is also reasonable!
2. ㅇㄹ (no consultation fee, wait under 30 minutes): A large hospital among private clinics. I consulted with Director ㅇㅍㅈ, and the price is cheap. The consultation style feels like, "I will take care of it well, so tell me the details before surgery~" I considered not going because the director got irritated when I asked detailed questions or raised doubts, but when I consulted about functional rhinoplasty, the director was okay again, so I also made a reservation here. The consultant does want the reservation deposit, but not to an uncomfortable degree, and she was good with benefits and deals, so I actually felt like choosing it because of the consultant. If you want a place with price merit and that will take care of things well on its own, go here!
3. ㅇㅇ (consultation fee 20,000 won, wait under 1 hour): The price is somewhat high, and there are quite a lot of reviews. They give a long, good consultation. I had been keeping an eye on this place since it had not been open long, so I went, and the director also consulted calmly and gently in detail. The consultant was also sincere without pressuring me for a deposit, so I booked as if I were under a spell. But the price was higher than my budget, so I did not do it. If I had more room in my budget, I think I would have debated between here and ㄴㅌ?
4. ㅅㄷ (no consultation fee, 1.5-hour wait): The director's consultation is truly recommended! I recommend going here for your first consultation. The director explains in detail what method will be used, why it is necessary, where the nerve line is, and what kinds of cases are common, and explains everything kindly and warmly. The director also clearly tells you when something is not appropriate. But the consultant is the ambush. There is no pressure for a deposit, but until you decide that you will do it, it feels like she does not care and just mechanically guides you and gets it over with? She would not let me take a picture of what I wrote down, said only she could use the chart, got into a power struggle with the customer, and said she would summarize the consultation afterward but did not give that either... The consultant was too authoritarian, so I gave up. The director is really good. The price is on the expensive side, so if your budget allows, I recommend this place.
5. ㅍㅇㅅ21: I went after looking into facial contouring, but they unconditionally recommended double jaw surgery, and the consultant was similar. The price was the highest among the places I looked into, and because my consultation schedule had been omitted, there was a consultation fee but they proceeded without charging it. All the other places advised against double jaw surgery, and even at another oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic they said I do not have any functional issues, so double jaw surgery is optional. That made me not trust this place. I do not recommend this place
6. ㅁㅇㄷㅇ (consultation fee 50,000 won): I was going to receive a consultation but did not...!
I am debating between ㅇㄹ and ㄴㅌ. Where should I go? ㅇㄹ can do functional rhinoplasty at the same time and has a price advantage, and ㄴㅌ is the place I picked from the beginning, but they say functional rhinoplasty is not possible there..!
