I'm planning incisional double eyelid revision surgery and ptosis correction, My right eye protrudes a bit more than my left eye and also doesn't open as much. So the plastic surgery clinic said ptosis correction would be included too. I don't think it happens all the time, but my friend showed me a video saying that sometimes I sleep with my eyes slightly open like slits. Both eyes are open, but the left eye, which doesn't open as much and protrudes a little more, was open more severely while I was sleeping.. But what I'm worried about is, if I get ptosis correction, I'm scared I might sleep with my eyes open or my eyes might not close when I sleep, especially the left one! I'm also wondering if it might be ptosis, and whether there are cases where someone has ptosis but sleeps with their eyes open.. There is a bit of a difference in how much my eyes open now, so they recommended ptosis correction, but I'm scared that if I get it for no reason, something really serious might happen to my eyes.. Should I go to an ophthalmologist first and ask.. Please help me…
