My first surgery caused contracture, so I removed the silicone, waited 6 months, and had revision surgery on Tuesday with AlloDerm + autologous rib cartilage!
Honestly, I wasn’t worried about the autologous rib pain at all and was only really worried about general anesthesia.... but on the first day, I was seriously shocked
I was like, something this painful... and so many people actually do it????
I regretted it so much, thinking, how much prettier could I possibly get just by making my nose a bit higher..
Until day 2, it really felt like someone had shoved a fist into my ribs and was heavily twisting it around and around
It wasn’t only when I moved, just every time I breathed... constantly...
Then from the 3rd day, it suddenly got a lot better, so now I can wash dishes, hang laundry, and do everything
As for the surgery result, I still have the splint on.. and my face is super swollen, so I feel a bit awkward posting before-and-after photos, so I’ll write a proper review later
Anyway, it really hurt
People preparing for autologous rib surgery.. I think you should expect to suffer pretty badly for at least two days
