1 year after SMILE LASIK

At the beginning of this year, I got a 500,000 won student discount and had the surgery. I was really so scared, but they treated me very kindly. After I came out from surgery, they even encouraged me about retaking the entrance exam, saying I’d succeed no matter what I do.. They were really kind. For about a day, it hurt a little and I couldn’t see well. But no matter how much it hurt, it hurt less than putting a torn contact lens in my eye. If your eyesight is bad enough to get eye surgery and you have experience wearing contacts, honestly you don’t need to worry about SMILE LASIK being painful.. When I went for regular checkups afterward, there were many people at the hospital, so someone other than the director who did my surgery checked me, but it was fine. Everyone examined me kindly and well. It’s almost been a year now, and I don’t have any major side effects and I can see well.ᐟ If I had to pick a side effect, in the early stage after surgery there was some glare/halos. This itself wasn’t hugely uncomfortable, but car headlights at night << this was no joke.. I couldn’t look at bright light. My eyes were so dazzled. It did get better after some time, but in the early stage after surgery, when I saw a car with high beams on, I seriously screamed. If you drive often at night, it might be a bit hard... There are side effects like this, but even if I were told to do the surgery again, I would. The quality of life changes.. I recommend it more the worse your eyesight is. It’s really convenient.ᐟ
