My eyes were not particularly short horizontally, so if I were to get cosmetic surgery, I only planned to get double eyelids. I saw a cosmetic surgery app in an Instagram ad (yes, the one everyone is thinking of lol), and at first I think I just lurked there for a few months!
I thought a very dramatic line would not suit me, so I was considering an in-out line. I booked consultations at 4 places I liked and went around to them over two days! I went around Gangnam-Sinsa, and even that was surprisingly a lot of work.. It was so physically draining that on the days I had consultations, I was sprawled out at home! haha
Among the places I consulted at, there was one where I saw the director’s face for barely 3 minutes and it was over.. and another where they pressured me so hard to book that they held me there for several minutes. But the reason I had surgery here was because they asked for my opinion while shaping the line for me! The director also said an in-out line would suit my eyes best! They said there was no reason to force an epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty either!
For the surgical method, I said I wanted natural adhesion because I did not want swelling or bruising, and they said it was possible because my skin was not thick or stretched out! I think most of you could probably do natural adhesion too, unless your skin is very stretched out! (Though you would only know for sure after a consultation? haha)
I had bruising & swelling in the first week, and from the second week onward the swelling seemed to go down quickly, because I even got eyelash extensions in the third week! haha The swelling was that manageable! Since my eyes definitely look more opened up, they look bigger even without much makeup! It has now been over two months since surgery, and the line is barely visible even when I close my eyes, so I am getting more satisfied as the days go by!
How does it look to everyone? Do you think my in-out line came out naturally and nicely?! haha
