It has been 2 years since my alar reduction. After 1 year, I’d say about 40% came back compared with how much it was reduced at first lol I kept all the photos and videos. It’s pretty different. I even deliberately used cotton swabs when picking my nose and stuff, but even though it was incisional, it stretched back like this, so I doubt non-incisional would have any effect lol Of course, since tissue was cut out, the cut shape of the alae and things like that are still maintained, but it seems like there’s no helping it getting wider again? My satisfaction is quite high, and before I had it done, I had a wide nose and was recommended osteotomy, but after alar reduction, clinics said I didn’t need osteotomy lol it was fascinating
