When this happens, the eyes look sleepy and even smaller;; This is my third revision surgery..
Nose concerns: My face is on the small side, so I was worried that my nose looked relatively large. I wanted my bulbous nose clearly corrected and wanted the nasal tip to look slim, defined, and high. But with my first surgery, it didn’t improve enough to satisfy what I wanted... Even after surgery, the nasal tip was still too blunt, so this time I wanted to redo both eyes + nose together.
If I was going to have revision surgery, I wanted both my eyes and nose to make my features stand out strongly and look glamorous. If possible, even if the doctors were different, I wanted to do them at the same hospital. In the past, I didn’t really read reviews properly like others or visit many places for consultations, and honestly I think I wasn’t desperate enough lol. This time, I really set my mind to it and looked into it....
I looked through many reviews and visited 4-5 places I liked, and kept going for consultations until I found a place I felt sure about. Some places charged a consultation fee and some didn’t (I think most charge because of CT scans?). But if you go to many consultations, you’ll feel this: even if I have specific things I want, every director differs in how much of that they’re willing to accept lol. Since it was revision surgery, the nasal materials that could be used were limited, and some places couldn’t do the style as much as I wanted, so once I looked for a place that matched my taste as much as possible, choosing the hospital was actually easier than I expected.
At the place where I had surgery, I had different directors for the eyes and nose. The reason is that I went after looking at different reviews, and I judged it myself, so I don’t regret the choice.
For the eyes, I had natural adhesion, and for the nose, I had donated costal cartilage + bulbous nose correction done again. It has only been 3 weeks since the revision surgery now lol, so it’s a bit much to say the result is insane or that getting the revision was the best decision a hundred times over, but the double eyelid line is definitely clearer than before, so I am satisfied. And the blunt nasal tip has also become slimmer.... There wasn’t much swelling, so I did all my daily activities from week 1 (honestly, even if there had been swelling, I probably would have managed fine lol), and I don’t think there was any particular discomfort after surgery....
I’m satisfied because my features seem to stand out well, just as I wanted... I’m just hoping this will be my last surgery.... I had the surgery on the 7th, so I’m only at week 3 and can’t be certain yet, but how does it look to everyone? It’ll keep settling well like this, right?
